STATEMENT OF FAITH
We
believe
the
Bible to be the inspired, infallible, Word of God and final authority in all
matters.
We
believe
in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the
Son, and God the Holy Ghost -- equal in divine perfection, purpose, and
power, yet with distinct functions.
We
believe
in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, His sinless
life, His earthly ministry, His vicarious, atoning death on the cross. His
bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His High
Priestly ministry for us in heaven, the receiving of His Body, the Church,
unto Himself, His Millennial reign on earth, the establishment of His
eternal kingdom, where He will dwell with His believers.
We
believe
man was created in the image of God, in the state of innocence, yet through
disobedience, man fell from God's grace, bringing upon himself, both
physical death, and spiritual death, which is separation from God. Man
Stands in need of being reconciled with God.
We
believe
man's only hope of being cleansed form sin and reconciled with God, is
through repentance, being redeemed by Christ's Blood, and regenerated by the
Holy Spirit.
We
believe
in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling presence,
assists and equips the Christian, to live a holy life unto God and provide
ministry and service to the world.
We
believe
the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to the born again believer in
this present dispensation. While God is sovereign in the bestowment of His
Spiritual gifts, each person should seek the best gifts of the Spirit for
their life in accordance with the will of God. (I Corinthians 12:1-31)
We
believe
the church is the body of Christ, of which Christ is the Head. The Church
manifests the presence and power of God through the indwelling power of the
Holy Spirit. It's purpose is to fulfill the great commission. Each believer,
born of the Spirit, is an important part of the Church, or member of
Christ's body.
We
believe
God has established, divinely called, set apart ministers, for the purpose
of evangelizing the world, and edifying of the Body of Christ.
We
believe
the sacrificial work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for man's
spirit and also his body, which can be accessed through believing prayer.
We
believe
in the reality of Satan, the enemy of both God and His creation. Satan will
be judged and suffer eternal damnation in the lake of fire.
We
believe
in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to
everlasting life, and the lost, those without Christ, to everlasting
damnation.
We
believe
in the literal return of our Lord Jesus Christ to to the earth to reign and
rule in righteousness with His saints; the final judgment of the lost; the
establishment of the new heavens and earth.
We
believe
the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whosoever is
not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life, shall be consigned to
everlasting punishment in the lake of fire, which is the second death.
